Wire Fabrication at Madsen

Since 1939, Madsen Wire Products has been a partner to clients in a wide range of industries with varying wire fabrication needs. Over the years, we've continued to invest in technology and training for our staff, expanding our capabilities to meet the evolving requirements of our customers.

When you work with Madsen Wire Products, you are working with a team that can turn around any project quickly, with a high degree of consistency and quality. More importantly, we collaborate closely with our customers, taking the time to understand their priorities and using our expertise to recommend solutions that save them time and money.

Prototype Customization at Madsen Wire Products

When it comes to wire fabrication and wire forming, Madsen Wire Products is the company you want to choose!  We have wire straighteners and wire cut off machines that allow accurate repeatability in large or short runs.  Our prototype shop can make fixtures to run all the fabrication in a small prototype environment and then reproduce production runs of wire formed parts with full functioning CNC controls.  That is what makes Madsen Wire special…our ability to make one or two for prototypes and then make thousands exactly the same.

How It Works

Our wire fabrication operation handles wire from 1/2” diameter wire to 14ga and also our 2” and smaller tube production.

Once the prototype has been approved by the customer, there are several methods for producing production parts.   “Hard tooling” can be created where wire is fed into the tooling and the radii and bends are formed by series of tools or one tool.

Our wire mesh welded products are used in many commercial and industrial applications.   We can butt weld or T weld wire as well.

Who We Serve

Madsen Wire Products has experience providing wire fabrication services for customers in many different industries. When we founded our company, we focused exclusively on the automotive sector. Today, we continue to provide customized storage racks for OEMs and their suppliers. We also routinely produce wire mesh lampshades, fencing panels, shelving, baskets, POP displays and more. Our current customer base includes manufacturers, restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores and retailers, among others.

We work with various materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum wire ranging in size and configuration. We can also perform value-added services such as powder coating, welding and assembly. Count on us for everything you need to create better products and more effective material handling solutions.

Applications and Advantages

Steel wire is lightweight, durable and flexible — three reasons why it is the material of choice for the above applications. Just as importantly, custom fabrication makes it possible to have a product built to your exact specifications. When it comes to storage or custom wire display racks, that's a benefit that will help you make better use of space and ultimately run a more streamlined operation. Instead of trying to make an off-the-shelf product fit into your workflow, go with something that's been engineered to work right every time by partnering with Madsen Wire Products.

Quality Is Our First Priority

We are not just any wire company. Madsen Wire Products is an ISO 9001:2015-registered wire fabricator that adheres to a set of repeatable, scalable quality-control processes in everything we do. As a result, we can turn around projects of any size, whether it's a small batch of prototypes or a production run of 100,000 or more items.

OEM Wire Components

A large portion of the parts fabricated by Madsen Wire Products are OEM Wire Components for Original Equipment Manufacturers.  These customers have been an integral part of our success.  Madsen Wire makes straight and cutoff wire parts with chamfered edges.  We make OEM Steel Wire components with radius bends per customer prints.  Carbon steel and stainless steel wire are commonly used in these parts.  If it is wire, we can form it, straighten it and make it to your needs!
